Geet inherited his love for singing from his father, and trained under teachers like Sanjay Devle for Hindustani classical and Gilles Denizot for voice culture. His foray in voice work started with his stint as a radio jockey for Radio Lemon in his home town, Gwalior, but it took wing when he won the international singing reality show, X Factor (India) in 2011, mentored by Shreya Ghoshal.

 

He has never looked back, and has established his career has a singer over the last decade and a half. In this time in Mumbai, he has done playback singing for films like 'Chichhore', 'Jagga Jasoos', 'Nautanki Saala', 'Baumoshai Bandookbaaz', 'Ludo', 'The Tashkent Files', 'Dolly, Kitty, Aur Wo Chamakte Sitaare', 'Vivo' (Netflix), 'Wheel of Time' (Amazon Prime), etc.

He has sung for numerous web series and singles like 'Bichoo Ka Khel', 'Inspector Avinash', 'Sadak', 'Kho Jaate Hain Log', 'Raam Aaye Hain', 'Tera Kya Hota' (Doublemint Fresh Take), and Amit Trivedi's 'Bairi Birha' (SOT2).

His voice can also be heard in TVCs of brands like Pepsi, Dominoes, Cadbury's, Bank of Baroda, Byjus, Cinthol, Lux Nitro, LIC, ICC World Cup, ICICI Bank, Rin, BBC, Jio FIFA 2022 and many more. 

Additionally, his voiceover work includes the audio play 'Inspector JK', some audiobooks, and his own Instagram page geetsagarofficial.
